Arts for ACT Gallery Opening Reception
at 2265 First Street in downtown Fort Myers from 6 to 10 pm for the opening reception and Meet the Artists for October’s Fort Myers Art Walk. This month, ACT Gallery will feature the mixed media abstracts of Bill Kramer in the main gallery and Lesley Morrow and Dharma LeFevre’s art will hang in the White Gallery. Also showing, New Works from our Co-op Artists!

WINK Taste of Lee
One-day food festival held at Centennial Park in Downtown Fort Myers from 11 am to sunset The event features a great variety of Lee County’s finest restaurants as well as music and exciting activities for the entire family. Admission is $10. All items are priced between $1.00 and $5.00.
12th annual Tin Can Tourist Vintage RV Show
10:00 am – 4:00 pm. The visiting Tin Can Tourist put on quite a show of vintage RVs on display for the public to view and explore right in the Koreshan Historic Settlement!
NOV 9, 2018 – Mystery Walk
River District from 6-8 pm. Registration begins at First and Hendry Streets in front of Iberia Bank. Free to play, participants receive the first clue of the mystery location and scorecard! The leisurely stroll through the core downtown area finding the mystery locations. Each location will confirm they are the quiz answer and provide your next clue. Finish by 8 pm and return your cards to registration to be entered for cash prizes!

5th Annual Veteran’s Day Parade 2018
The RDA is pleased to host the fifth annual Veterans Parade in the River District. The parade will begin on Jackson Street at the American Legion and will proceed through the streets (Jackson Street, Main Street & First Street) of downtown ending with a commemorative program in front of the SBDAC. Guests are invited to line the streets to view the parade. 11 am.
Matanzas Craft Beer Fest on the Bay from noon to 4 p.m. We’re bringing local breweries, musicians and tasty cuisine to our beautiful waterfront deck in support of Operation Open Arms! Rock out with Soulixer’s blend of Indie Rock & Soul from noon to 2 p.m. and see a local favorite, Sheena Brook, singer-songwriter and The Voice contestant from 2 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $50 and will be available at MatanzasOnTheBay.com or the restaurant soon! Tickets include craft beer, food offerings, and live music. Operation Open Arms, a 501(c)3, provides post-deployment support to military personnel returning from combat or foreign duty stations.

From jazz and blues to rock & roll, many genres can be heard and vary each month. Free to the public with many venues featuring additional attractions and specials. 6-10 pm.
NOV 16-25, 2018 – 32nd Annual American Sandsculpting Championship and Beach Festival
Event Location: In front of the Wyndham Garden Hotel, 6890 Estero Boulevard Fort Myers Beach. $7 Admission at the Gate – Kids 4 & Under Free $1 off Admission for Veterans, Active Service Members, Police, Fire & First Responders with ID.
NOV 25, 2018 – Downtown Car Cruise-In
From classic to cool, downtown streets are lined with the sight of these show cars on the fourth Sunday of the month from 12 noon – 4 pm. Music, food and more! Family Friendly and free to the public with many venues featuring additional specials.

Festival of Trees
The 12th Annual Festival of Trees returns to the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center! Experience the beautiful trees decorated by the local business to raise money for Goodwill of Southwest Florida and SBDAC.
