LAKES PARK FALL FESTIVAL & PUMPKIN PATCH
This long-running, two-weekend fall festival takes place in Lee County’s largest pumpkin patch at Lakes Regional Park. Scenic views of gourds, mini villages and a waterfall make the Halloween Express Train ride a kid favorite every year. Better yet, the fall festival is free to attend, and extra activities, like hayrides and inflatables, cost just a few bucks.
KORESHAN STATE PARK – ANNUAL FAMILY HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL
Stop by Koreshan State Park for a family-friendly Halloween festival with games, live music and a children’s parade. This event also features “trunk-or-treating,” where local businesses decorate their car trunks and give away candy – it’s all fun and no fright.
SPOOKTACULAR TROLLEY EVENT
If you’re 21 or older, dress up and head to downtown Cape Coral for the Spooktacular Trolley Event, where you can jump on board an exclusive trolley and ride to Cape Coral’s best bars. The night includes trolley trivia and a cash prize for best costume. Plus, all participants get candy and a free drink sample at each stop. You can purchase your tickets here.
FARMER MIKE’S HAUNTED CORN MAZE
The events only get spookier when you head over to Farmer Mike’s Haunted Corn Maze. This labyrinth of terror stretches for 10 acres, and Farmer Mike is promising more scares than ever before. If you don’t think you can handle the terrifying twists and turns, Farmer Mike’s also offers a non-haunted corn maze.
GATOR MIKES ANNUAL HAUNTED HIKE
As day slips into the darkness of night, take a frightful hike through this haunted walk crawling with monsters, ghouls and ghastly ghosts. This fall-time favorite is open Fridays and Saturdays in October. All ages are welcome, but parents are required to attend with children 10 and under.
HAUNTED HISTORY TOURS
Last but not least, there’s the scariest stop of all. This walking tour takes you past the most paranormally active buildings in the Fort Myers Rivers District. Guests have reported spirit sightings and mysterious marks in their photographs. Tours are offered every night in the last week of October, but they fill up fast. Take the walk – if you dare.
